Zeplyn calls itself an agentic operating system for wealth management and says it is trusted by RIAs and enterprise wealth firms. The company is in New York. It takes notes without a recording, writes tasks into the CRM, and fills forms from the conversation. Briefi also prepares you, captures the meeting and drafts the follow-up, then goes on to the fee arrangement, the signature and the document request, kept on the household. A US firm whose stack is Salesforce, Wealthbox or Redtail, and that does not want audio kept, should look at Zeplyn. A practice that wants the paperwork finished inside the same record should look at Briefi.

One client, start to finish
One client, start to finish
An adviser meets a household for a review: a brief before, notes in the room, tasks afterwards, a follow-up and some paperwork to finish. What we show for Zeplyn is limited to the wording of its pages, read on 16 October 2026.
1
Prepare the review
Zeplyn
It assembles a relationship recap and agenda in seconds, with briefs where every fact is traceable to its source.2
Briefi
A brief is written before you meet, drawn from what Briefi already holds on the household and what is still open.
2
Sit in the meeting
Zeplyn
Notes are captured in real time without a recording, with compliance checklists and agenda prompts shown as you go.2
Briefi
Briefi joins by bot from Pro, records in the browser, or listens through the standalone recorder in person. Live captions come with Pro and up.
3
Turn notes into tasks
Zeplyn
Tasks are created and assigned in the CRM after every meeting.2
Briefi
The recap lists the actions and gives each an owner. A meeting can be pushed to a CRM so the record is there too.
4
Send the follow-up
Zeplyn
Follow-up emails are drafted in the adviser’s own voice.3
Briefi
The draft sits in Briefi for you to read and change, then goes out from your Gmail, Microsoft 365 or SMTP mailbox.
5
Finish the paperwork
Zeplyn
Forms are pre-filled from the meeting and routed to CRMs, plans or document vaults. Signing is not mentioned on the pages we read.231
Briefi
The form is completed by the client and signed online, with a certificate page that records the time and device. The copy is filed to the household.
Where Zeplyn wins
When Zeplyn is the better choice
Where the deciding point is audio, write-back or in-room prompts, Zeplyn is the likelier fit.
No audio
Notes without a recording
Zeplyn describes recording-free notes, and its security page says it does not store meeting audio and has zero data retention agreements with its AI providers. If your firm would rather hold no audio at all, that is a real difference. Briefi records and transcribes.24
Stack
Write-back into US wealth software
It states more than thirty deep integrations, and its home page shows Salesforce, Wealthbox, Redtail, HubSpot and Tamarac. Briefi pushes a meeting to ten CRMs and offers an API, and more connections are rolling out progressively.21
Compliance
Prompts during the meeting
Built-in compliance checklists and real-time agenda prompts appear in the room, with an adviser reviewing the output and personal data redacted automatically.21
Assurance
A stated SOC 2 Type II report
Zeplyn states that it is SOC 2 Type II certified on its security page, and mentions deployment in your own VPC on its home page.41
Where Briefi is different
After the notes, the fee, the signature and the household.
Zeplyn’s pages end where the work goes back to the CRM. Briefi keeps going.
The fee arrangement as a registerAdvisor
Each ongoing fee carries its reference day and a consent window, and Briefi shows it as current, open, due or lapsed. This is for Australian workspaces only.
Signing in the same recordSign
The guide, the privacy statement and the fee agreement can go out together. Each person signs for themselves, and the signed copies are filed to the household.
A portal and documents asked forAdvisor
A request goes to the client, who answers by upload. You see what has come back and what has not, and a portal, once switched on, shows the arrangement beside it.
Briefi does not write the Statement of Advice, so the advice and your duties stay with you. Recaps follow the meeting’s language, while the app and its built-in forms are English only.
How the whole record fits together is on the Advisor page.
Pricing
Pricing compared
A Briefi plan is priced per plan, not per user, with its seats, the size of your book and allowances listed on the pricing page. Zeplyn’s pages invite you to book a demo and show no figure, so none is stated here. Ask them for a quote and say how many advisers you have.

The home, product, solutions and security pages show no price
Briefi prices are in AUD and are read from the same price list as the pricing page, so they change when it does.
Questions
Briefi and Zeplyn, asked often
Is Zeplyn available outside the US?
None of the Zeplyn pages we read mention Australia or the UK. The company is in New York and speaks to RIAs and wealth firms. We have not claimed it is or is not offered elsewhere, so ask them directly.
Does Briefi record the meeting, as Zeplyn does not?
Yes. Briefi transcribes the conversation and keeps the transcript against the meeting, so you can check the recap and the actions against what was said. Zeplyn describes recording-free notes and says it does not store meeting audio.
Which CRMs does Briefi push to?
GoHighLevel, HubSpot, Monday, Pipedrive, Close, Copper, ActiveCampaign, Salesforce, Zoho CRM and Microsoft Dynamics 365, from Pro and on the Advisor plans. More connections are rolling out progressively, and the public API lets another tool read meetings and contacts.
Can Briefi fill a form from the conversation?
Briefi supplies the forms, including a fact-find and an advice fee agreement, and the client completes and signs them. It does not claim to pre-fill them from what was said, which Zeplyn describes.
Does Briefi write my Statement of Advice?
No. Briefi records, summarises and tracks. The advice, the wording of the statement and your duties stay with you and your licensee.
What does Zeplyn say about security?
Its security page says it does not store meeting audio, that it holds zero data retention agreements with its AI providers and that it encrypts traffic with TLS 1.3 or later. It does not name a hosting region. Briefi’s Security page lists its providers and where each sits.
Can I try Briefi beside Zeplyn?
Yes. Keep your current notes tool for existing meetings and run a few new households through Briefi, then compare what you were left with at the end of each.
