Briefi Advisor

The whole client relationship, in one record.

For financial advisers, brokers and accountants. Briefi Advisor prepares and writes up every meeting, keeps the household’s registers, collects the documents, gets the forms signed and watches every review, renewal and consent date in between.

Who it is for

Built around the registers your trade already keeps.

One client record, shaped for the work you do. Pick your trade to see what it holds. The example is the same household each time, as a practice offering that service would see it.

A loan register that knows when each fixed rate rolls off.

  • Settlements and fixed-rate expiries come up as work: a settlement inside 14 days, a fixed rate ending inside 90.
  • A passed date is flagged as stale, never rolled forward, so the register never pretends to be current.
  • Calculators beside your call notes, with the borrowing figure labelled as an estimate.
The client lifecycle

From the first meeting to the tenth annual review.

Follow the Sandhus through their refinance with Alex Morgan, a broker at Northgate Finance Partners. Every step lands on the same record.

Walk in knowing what was promised last time.

  • A brief before you meet, built from your earlier meetings with them and their email threads.
  • What is overdue, and on whose side, at the top of their record, so the meeting opens with the valuer, not small talk.
  • A notetaker that joins the call, or recording in the browser when the clients are in your office. Transcribed server-side, each speaker labelled.
AfterFri 2 Oct · 11:32

The recap is written before you are back at your desk.

  • Decisions and actions, each with an owner and the minute in the call it was said.
  • Briefi drafts the follow-up in your voice. You read it, change what you like, and send.
  • Filed to the household, and pushed to your CRM if you use one.

The client record

One record for the household, and everything owed both ways.

Households and organisations with their members, who looks after them, and every meeting, form, journey and register line in one place.

BetweenOct 2026 to Aug 2027

The months where relationships quietly lapse.

  • Review cadences you set, counted properly: a monthly review anchored on the 31st lands on the 28th in February and returns to the 31st in March.
  • Renewals, settlements and fixed-rate expiries turn into work on the record before they are due.
  • Journeys that carry a client through a refinance, an onboarding or a lodgement, one step at a time.
Requests, signing and the portal

The paperwork, asked for once and kept in order.

What we need from you

Ask the client, or their accountant, for exactly the documents you need. Zipped folders are unpacked, each file is accepted or waived by a person, and where you set a removal date, the uploader is told it.

Signed by each person

Forms open on your briefi.sh address and work in a phone browser. Each person signs for themselves, and the signed copy is filed once the last signature is in, kept as a timestamped PDF/A.

A portal for the household

Clients see what they owe you, upload documents, read the summaries you choose to share and check their loans and policies. On your briefi.sh address, or on your firm’s own domain on Advisor Practice.

The principal’s view

Where the book stands, counted, not guessed.

The Sandhus are one household. Your practice is hundreds. Insight counts from what actually happened: meetings held, commitments made, forms sent and returned. Every figure has rows behind it.

  • A weekly review that names where to focus, and says so when nothing is slipping.
  • Who looks after each client, so reminders reach the right adviser.
  • Support staff on free seats, and several workspaces under one sign-in.

Security and data handling

Your clients’ affairs, kept like they matter.

What we can state plainly, because it is true of every workspace today.

  • Stored in Sydney. Production runs in the Sydney region, so client data stays in Australia.
  • Your workspace’s own key. Briefs, recaps, transcripts and connector credentials are encrypted with it.
  • Uploads kept only as long as you choose. Kept, deleted after a set number of days, or deleted once accepted. Where there is a removal date, the uploader is told it, and files are deleted on it.
  • Forgetting a client means it. Their documents are removed and their portal access and upload links are closed, unless you record a reason to keep them.

Briefi keeps the record, complete and in order. The advice, and the obligations that come with it, stay with your practice.

On file is everyone in your record, with a household counted once. Active is who you did work for that month, averaged over three months so one busy week does not tip you over.

Questions

What practices ask first.

Which trades is Advisor built for?

Financial advice, mortgage and finance broking, insurance broking, accounting and business advisory. Each workspace is set up for its trade, so the record shows the registers that trade keeps: fee arrangements, loans, policies and claims, or entities and lodgements.

Does it work outside Australia?

Yes, with one caveat. The document templates included, such as the Financial Services Guide and the ongoing fee consent, are written for Australian law, and consent windows apply only to Australian workspaces. Firms elsewhere use their own documents.

What counts as an active client?

A client you did work for that month: a form, a signature, a meeting or a review logged. It is averaged over three months. You are warned at 80% of your allowance, and going over never blocks anything.

Can my support staff use it?

Yes. Advisor Solo includes one free support seat and Advisor Practice includes one for each adviser. Advisor Start is for a single adviser working alone.

Can clients sign and upload on their phone?

Yes. Forms and upload pages work in a phone browser with no app to install. Co-signers each get their own link, and a third party such as the client’s accountant gets an upload link with a code sent to their own email.

Can I start with Meetings and move to Advisor later?

Yes. Advisor includes everything in Meetings and Sign, so moving up keeps your meetings, contacts and history in the same workspace.

Does Briefi make my practice compliant?

No software can do that. Briefi keeps a complete, timestamped record of what was discussed, sent and signed, which makes your obligations easier to evidence. The obligations stay with your practice.
