How clients are counted
On file is every client in your workspace, with a household counted once. Active is a client someone on your team did work for that month: sent a form, captured a meeting, held a review, logged a claim or emailed them directly. Active is averaged over three months, so one busy month does not tip you over.
Both limits are soft and nobody is locked out. Going over your on-file allowance blocks and charges nothing. For active clients you get a notice at 80% and a prompt to add a bundle at 100%. The one hard stop: an import that would take you past your on-file limit is refused, so add a bundle first.

Credit, hour and text packs are one-off purchases. They never expire and are used only after the month's allowance is gone. Client bundles are different: they are billed monthly with your plan.

During the trial each workspace has 300 AI credits, 2 recording hours, 5 form requests and 10 texts, whichever plan you chose. A trial that matches an earlier one (same card, email address or firm email domain) is reviewed by Briefi support before it gets that allowance.
A seat is a person who signs in. Solo, Pro and Advisor Start are for one person. Business, Sign, Advisor Solo, Advisor Practice and Scale let you add people, and each extra seat brings its own allowance on top of the plan’s.
Support seats are free and separate: one on Business and Advisor Solo, one per adviser on Advisor Practice, and eight on Scale.
Credits and recording hours stop at the allowance until you buy a pack or the month resets; auto-recharge can buy one for you. Client limits on Advisor plans are soft and never lock anyone out. Sign requests stop at your monthly allowance until the next month or an extra user. Forms sent from a Briefi address are also limited to 20 a day for each user, or 200 a day once you connect your own mailbox.
Yes. Open Billing in the app, then the Stripe portal, and cancel there. A cancelled plan keeps working until the end of the period you have paid for, whether you pay monthly or annually.
A workspace without a plan is paused, and you can still open Billing and restart a plan. A paused workspace is deleted 90 days after it was paused. We email you before that happens.
For Australian customers, yes: every AUD price on this page includes GST. Customers outside Australia are not charged tax at this time.

Your currency is detected at checkout, and a workspace is always billed in the currency of its subscription.
Launch allowance means a workspace that subscribes to Advisor Start, Advisor Solo or Advisor Practice during the offer gets the higher client allowances shown on this page. Kept for as long as you stay subscribed. For the first 100 workspaces or until 31 December 2026, whichever comes first.
You keep it only while the workspace stays subscribed to one of those three plans. You lose it if you cancel, if you move to a plan that is not an Advisor plan, or if the subscription ends because a payment was not made. Once lost, it does not come back. Moving between Start, Solo and Practice keeps it, and you get the launch figures of the new plan.
