Built for legal and investigative work
Rev’s pricing page is headed as pricing for legal and investigative work, and its home page names criminal prosecution and defence, law enforcement, civil law and court reporting.12
These are built for different work. Rev presents itself as an investigative platform with pricing plans for legal and investigative work: transcription for prosecution, defence, law enforcement, civil law and court reporting, with human-verified transcripts and deposition citations. Briefi is for client-facing meetings in professional services: a brief before you meet, a follow-up drafted and sent from your own mailbox, and the meeting filed to the client’s record. If you transcribe evidence, interviews or depositions, Rev is built for that. If you advise clients and owe them something after each meeting, Briefi keeps that in one place.
What each does today. Rev is a transcription platform, so rows compare only where its own pages say something we could check. Every line about Rev links to the page it came from.

Briefi was built for people who meet the same clients for years. The notes are where a meeting ends, and what you owe the client is what comes next.
Briefi writes a brief ahead of the meeting, so you walk in knowing the history, the open actions and what was promised last time.
The recap becomes a follow-up draft you can edit and send from your Gmail, Microsoft 365 or SMTP mailbox, so it arrives from you.
Actions from every meeting land in one register, with reminders on Pro and up, so nothing lives only in last month’s notes.
Advisor puts meetings, forms, signed copies and registers for a client on one record, with an optional client portal.
Meetings on its own has no client record, signing or portal. Advisor adds them on the same workspace.
Briefi charges a monthly plan price, with the seats and allowances each plan includes set out on the pricing page. Rev is priced for each seat, and its page names no currency. The paid figures are the annual-billing figures, shown with two months free; we did not capture its monthly-billing prices. Human-verified transcription is priced separately. Check its page before you decide.
Briefi prices are in AUD and are read from the same price list as the pricing page, so they change when it does.
