Built for clinical notes
Heidi describes itself as clinical-grade AI for physicians and health systems, for doctors, nurses, allied health and practice managers. Briefi is built for client meetings in professional services, not clinical notes.1
These two do different jobs. Heidi is a clinical scribe: it listens during a consult and writes the clinical note, the referral and the letter to the GP for doctors, nurses and allied health. Briefi is for client-facing professional services meetings: a brief before you meet, a follow-up drafted and sent from your own mailbox, and the meeting filed to the client’s record. If you are a health practitioner writing clinical notes, Heidi is built for you. If you advise clients and owe them something after each meeting, Briefi keeps that in one place.
What each does today. Heidi is a clinical scribe, so rows compare only where its own pages say something we could check. Every line about Heidi links to the page it came from.

Meetings is the notetaker. Advisor is the notetaker plus the client. Advisor includes everything in Meetings plus signing, the client record, registers and a client portal. A row appears only where Heidi’s own pages say something we could check.
If any of these decides it for you, Heidi Health is likely the better fit today.

Briefi was built for people who meet the same clients for years. The notes are where a meeting ends, and what you owe the client is what comes next.
Briefi writes a brief ahead of the meeting, so you walk in knowing the history, the open actions and what was promised last time.
The recap becomes a follow-up draft you can edit and send from your Gmail, Microsoft 365 or SMTP mailbox, so it arrives from you.
Actions from every meeting land in one register, with reminders on Pro and up, so nothing lives only in last month’s notes.
Advisor puts meetings, forms, signed copies and registers for a client on one record, with an optional client portal.
Meetings on its own has no client record, signing or portal. Advisor adds them on the same workspace.
Heidi’s pricing page showed no dollar figures when we read it, so there is no price to compare. Briefi charges a monthly plan price, with the seats and allowances each plan includes set out on the pricing page. Check Heidi’s page for its current terms.
Briefi prices are in AUD and are read from the same price list as the pricing page, so they change when it does.
