These two barely overlap, and the honest answer for most brokers is to use both. Quickli answers the question a lender will ask: can this borrower service this loan, and under whose policy. It runs serviceability across a very large panel and pairs that with lender policy, loan notes and document handling. Briefi answers a different question: what was said in the room, what happens next, and who signed what. It has rough calculators on the meeting page, but nothing that stands in for a lender’s own assessment. If you can only fix one gap this quarter, pick the one you feel more often: a scenario you cannot test, or a meeting you cannot account for.

Briefi Advisor and Quickli, side by side
The rows below are the places the two products touch. Everything Quickli does on lender policy has no counterpart in Briefi, and everything Briefi does with a meeting or a signature has none in Quickli’s pages, so those are covered in the sections around this table.

One client, start to finish
One client, start to finish
A self-employed couple want to consolidate a loan and a car debt into one refinance. Quickli’s side comes from its own pages as read on 16 October 2026, and Briefi’s side is what ships today. The two columns rarely fill the same step.
1
Test whether the loan works at all
Quickli
The broker runs a serviceability check across more than fifty lenders and reads the policy notes before choosing where to look.1
Briefi
Not what Briefi does. The meeting page has rough repayment and borrowing calculators, and the broker can add a figure to the notes, but they carry a label saying they are not a lender’s assessment.
2
Sit down with the couple
Quickli
The pages we read describe calculators and scenarios, and say nothing about recording or transcribing the conversation.13
Briefi
A brief is generated before they arrive. A bot joins the call, the browser records it, or the standalone recorder captures it across the table.
3
Gather their paperwork
Quickli
Doc Handler pulls the couple’s documents into the scenario, renaming each one, and a fact find can fill the scenario in for the broker.3
Briefi
A document request lists each file still owed. They upload through a link sent to their own addresses, and the broker sees what has come back.
4
Write up the recommendation
Quickli
Loan Notes drafts the submission notes in one click from the scenario.3
Briefi
The recap records what the couple said and decided. Briefi does not draft a lender submission; that stays in the broker’s own system.
5
Get the letter signed and follow up
Quickli
Branded PDF exports and proposals are mentioned on its Pro page. Nothing on the pages read describes a client signing.3
Briefi
The follow-up is drafted in Briefi, edited, and sent from the broker’s own mailbox. The engagement letter is signed by both borrowers on their own links, each confirming a code by email and text.
Where Quickli wins
When Quickli is the better choice
On the work of testing a loan against lender rules, there is no contest. These are the points that should decide it for you.
Serviceability
Serviceability across the lender panel
Quickli runs instant serviceability checks across more than fifty lenders and adds policy insights and real-time scenarios. Briefi’s calculators give a rough figure to talk through with a borrower; they are not a lender’s assessment and are not a policy engine.1
Specialist
SMSF and alternative-doc tools
The Pro tier adds an SMSF serviceability tool and an alt-doc and specialist tool. Briefi has no equivalent for either.3
Assurance
A stated security standard
Its trust centre states ISO 27001 certification and a SOC 2 Type I report, with a Type II report underway, and says core hosting is in the Sydney region.5
Trial
A free trial of three weeks
Its pricing page offers a free trial of three weeks, an annual price per user, and a monthly option.2
Where Briefi is different
The meeting, the follow-up and the signed letter.
What Briefi adds is everything that happens once the numbers are worked out and a person has to be talked through them.
A meeting that is captured, not rememberedMeetings
A brief is ready before the borrowers arrive. The meeting is caught by a bot on Zoom, Teams or Google Meet, in the browser, or by the standalone recorder in the room, and the recap lists decisions and actions that each have an owner.
Consent and engagement letters signed on the phoneSign
Drawn or typed signatures, co-signing on separate links, and fee schedules inside the signed digest. The certificate page records the IP, device, location and times.
A loan register and the ongoing-fee windowAdvisor
Each client’s loans sit in a register that opens a settled fixed loan for review inside ninety days of its rate ending, and Australian workspaces see the ongoing-fee consent window open sixty days before each anniversary.
Briefi does not take payments from your clients today, and identity checks on clients are not yet available, so a broker still verifies identity in their usual way.
How the whole record fits together is on the Advisor page.
Pricing
Pricing compared
Briefi is priced by plan, and its allowances are listed on its pricing page. Quickli lists two tiers per user. Its pricing page shows two amounts against each tier and we could not tell which is current, so we state none here. Read the page before you compare.

Quickli

Core, for one user: servicing calculator, funds position, product comparison, policy and service levels, quick calculators and lender information
Pro adds Jiffi AI, Doc Handler, Loan Notes, an SMSF serviceability tool, an alt-doc and specialist tool, custom branding, organisation-level analytics and fact find with document collection
A free trial of three weeks, with a saving on the first year per user as an intro offer
Annual billing is labelled as two months free, and a monthly option exists without a price shown
Jiffi AI and Loan Notes share a monthly credit allowance for each person, and Doc Handler has its own, pooled across the organisation
Briefi prices are in AUD and are read from the same price list as the pricing page, so they change when it does.
Questions
Briefi and Quickli, asked often
Is Briefi an alternative to Quickli?
No. Quickli tests a loan against lender serviceability and policy. Briefi prepares, captures and follows up the client meeting and gets documents signed. A broker would not drop one for the other.
Does Briefi calculate serviceability?
Only roughly. The meeting page has repayment, borrowing, lender comparison and equity calculators, on by default where a workspace keeps a loan register. They are labelled estimates and are not a lender’s assessment.
Do the two connect to each other?
Briefi connects today to ten CRMs, including HubSpot, Salesforce and Zoho CRM, and to Google, Microsoft 365 and CalDAV calendars, with more connections rolling out progressively. Quickli’s own pages speak of broker CRMs without naming one. In the meantime a figure from Quickli can be typed into Briefi’s notes.
Which one produces the recommendation document?
Quickli’s Pro tier drafts loan submission notes. Briefi writes the meeting recap, in the language the meeting was held in, and does not draft a lender submission.
Where does each product keep client data?
Quickli’s trust centre says core hosting, its database and temporary document storage are in the Sydney region, with some processing outside Australia. Briefi’s app and database are in Sydney too, with some processing by overseas providers, and sensitive content is encrypted under a key held for your workspace.
Is Quickli a CRM?
Its home page describes lender calculators, policy insights and scenarios, and its pricing lists a servicing calculator, product comparison and lender information. It is a calculator and policy tool, so it sits beside whichever CRM you already use, and its who-is-supported page speaks of broker CRMs and lead platforms in general.
Which should I try first?
Start with the gap you feel more often. If you lose time testing loans across lenders, Quickli’s free trial of three weeks answers that. If you lose time writing up meetings and chasing signatures, Briefi’s trial does.
Does Briefi record the borrower meeting?
It does, through a bot, the browser or the standalone recorder. Quickli’s pages that we read do not describe meeting capture.
