Advisor, head to head

Briefi vs MyCRM

MyCRM is Loan Market Group’s own CRM, built for its brokers, so this is not a product you shop for. It is the system a Loan Market broker already works in, covering the client file, lender quotes and the notes that go with a submission, and Loan Market Group says it is now used across residential, commercial and asset finance. Briefi is none of those things. It is the layer around the borrower conversation: the brief before it, the recap and follow-up after it, the document list and the signed letter. If you are a Loan Market broker, the useful question is not which to choose but whether the gap between the meeting and the file is worth closing with a second tool beside the one your group provides.

One client, start to finish

One client, start to finish

An investor who owns two residential properties wants to buy a small commercial unit. MyCRM’s side comes from Loan Market Group’s own pages as read on 16 October 2026. Briefi’s side is what ships today, and the steps split the work rather than competing for it.

  1. 1

    Collect the investor’s documents

    MyCRM

Document collection is automated, and MyDocuments classifies, renames and redacts what comes in.1

    Briefi

A document request lists each file the investor owes. They upload through a link sent to their own address, and the broker sees what is back and what is outstanding.

  2. 2

    Meet and talk it through

    MyCRM

The pages we read describe the CRM, the notes and the quality check, and say nothing about recording or transcribing the meeting.13

    Briefi

A brief is ready beforehand. The conversation is captured by a bot, in the browser, or by the standalone recorder, and the recap lists decisions and actions with an owner on each.

  3. 3

    Draft the lender-facing notes

    MyCRM

MyNoteWriter drafts lender rationales, product selection notes and exit strategies in seconds, which the broker can review, edit or override.3

    Briefi

Briefi does not draft BID notes. It supplies what the investor said and decided, which the broker can use when writing them.

  4. 4

    Quote and check before lodging

    MyCRM

Quotes are generated within the platform from a broad lender panel, and the quality check checks each deal against more than five hundred data points before lodgement.13

    Briefi

Not what Briefi does. Lodgement and the lender panel stay in MyCRM.

  5. 5

Follow up and get the letter signed

    MyCRM

Automated, tailored updates go to the client. The pages read do not describe a client signing anything.1

    Briefi

The follow-up is drafted in Briefi and sent from the broker’s own mailbox. The investor and a co-borrower each sign the engagement letter on their own link.

Where MyCRM wins

When MyCRM is the better choice

For the core of a broker’s day inside Loan Market Group it is the system of record, and Briefi does not try to replace it.

System of record

The broker’s own CRM, file and quotes

Loan Market Group describes MyCRM as its in-house tech, built to automate and simplify, with a broad lender panel and quotes generated in the platform. Briefi generates no lender quotes and handles no loan application.1

Scope

One system for three kinds of lending

Loan Market Group says MyCRM Diversified covers residential, commercial and asset finance, rolled out to all its brokers in March 2025 after more than a year of pilot testing. That is its own claim of being end to end, and the press report repeats it.42

AI in the file

Notes, document sorting and a quality check where the deal sits

MyCRM Intelligence puts note drafting, document handling and a pre-lodgement check inside the file, and Loan Market Group offers it at no additional cost to its brokers. Briefi’s recap is written from the meeting, not from the application.13

Cost

Provided by the group

It is available to all group brokers, so adding it is not a separate purchase decision the way a second tool is.2

Where Briefi is different

What happens in the room, and what gets signed after it.

The pages we read describe the file, the quotes and the notes. Briefi takes the conversation that produces them.

  • A meeting you did not have to take notes inMeetings

A brief is generated before you meet. A bot joins Zoom, Teams or Google Meet, the browser can record, and the standalone recorder handles a kitchen-table meeting. The recap is written in the language the meeting was held in.

  • Signing without a second productSign

Engagement letters, fee schedules and consents are signed by drawn or typed signature. Borrowers can co-sign on their own links, and the signed PDF carries a certificate page with a SHA-256 digest.

  • A register that watches the rate periodAdvisor

A settled fixed or split loan reads as open for review inside ninety days of its rate ending, and Australian workspaces track the ongoing-fee consent window on each client.

A client reaches Briefi through a calendar invite or by being added by hand. Briefi does not take payments from your clients today, and identity checks are not yet available.

How the whole record fits together is on the Advisor page.

Pricing

Pricing compared

Briefi is priced by plan, with its allowances listed on its pricing page. MyCRM has no price on any page we read, which fits a product provided to a group’s brokers rather than sold.

Questions

Briefi and MyCRM, asked often

Can I buy MyCRM?

Loan Market Group says it is available to all LMG and Loan Market brokers, and the pages we read show no public sale, price or trial. The pages we read describe no way for brokers outside the group to get it.

Does Briefi replace MyCRM?

No. MyCRM holds the loan file, the lender panel and the quotes, and Briefi does not. It captures the meeting, drafts the follow-up, collects documents and gets letters signed.

What does Briefi connect to?

On the Advisor plans Briefi pushes meetings to ten CRMs, among them HubSpot, Salesforce and Zoho CRM, and syncs Google, Microsoft 365 and CalDAV calendars. More connections are rolling out progressively. Another tool can read Briefi’s meetings and contacts through its API on Business and up, and on the Advisor plans.

Which one drafts my submission notes?

MyCRM does, through MyNoteWriter. Briefi writes a recap of the meeting and a follow-up to the client, not a lender submission.

Where does Briefi keep client data?

Briefi’s app and database are in Sydney, with some processing by overseas providers that the Security page names, and sensitive content is encrypted under a key held for your workspace. The MyCRM pages we read do not state a hosting region.

What does MyCRM Intelligence include?

Loan Market Group names four parts: MyNoteWriter for notes, MyDocuments for classifying, renaming and redacting documents, MyQualityAssurance for checking a deal before lodgement, and MyDataAnalyst for turning business data into insights. It says they are offered at no additional cost to its brokers.
