Connective says members get Mercury Nexus at no extra cost, with no separate CRM fee. If you are a member, you are already paying for it.12
Mercury Nexus is the broking CRM that Connective gives its members: the pipeline, the compliance prompts, credit checks and open banking, all in one place. Briefi is not a broking CRM and does not lodge loans. It covers the client conversation around one: the meeting, the follow-up, the document request and the signed letter. If you are a Connective broker, Mercury is already yours, and the question is whether you want Briefi alongside it.

Mercury comes with Connective membership. It is not sold on its own, so there is no price for Mercury to put beside Briefi’s. Only lines that Connective’s pages say something about are scored.
If any of these decides it for you, Mercury is likely the better fit today.
Connective says members get Mercury Nexus at no extra cost, with no separate CRM fee. If you are a member, you are already paying for it.12
Credit checks, open banking, funding position and borrowing capacity calculators and compliance workflows are built in. Briefi has none of these and does not lodge loans.1
Connective says brokers verify client data 12 times faster with open banking. That is their own claim, based on member feedback and average platform usage, and we have not tested it.1
Mercury keeps the pipeline, tasks and client data capture in one system built around a broker’s deals. Briefi keeps the client record, not the loan pipeline.1
Briefi does not replace your broking CRM. It covers what happens with the client before and after, and sits alongside the broking CRM you already run.
A brief before you meet, a recap after with decisions and actions that have an owner, and a follow-up drafted for you to check and send from your own mailbox.
Clients sign on their phone, and the signed PDF carries a certificate page with names, times and a SHA-256 digest. Co-signing and templates are included.
Ask a client for what you need, see what has come back and chase the rest, without a thread of emails.
A register of each client’s loans and policies, with a review journey that tells you when each one is due.
Briefi has no direct connection to Mercury; a client list can come across from an export, or through the API. Its identity checks are not available yet, and it does not take payments from your clients.
Mercury is not priced on its own: it comes with Connective membership, so the figures below are the membership’s. The Connective pricing page names no currency for them; check it before you decide.
Briefi prices are in AUD and are read from the same price list as the pricing page, so they change when it does.
No. Mercury is a broking CRM that comes with Connective membership, and Briefi does not lodge loans or run a loan pipeline. Briefi covers the meetings, follow-up, document requests and signing around it.
Yes. Mercury can stay your broking system while Briefi handles the client conversation. There is no direct connection between them, so a client list comes across from an export or through the API.
Yes. A bot joins Zoom, Teams and Google Meet calls, or you can record in the browser or face to face, and a recap follows. The pages we read for Mercury do not say whether it records meetings.
