Broker-specific workflow
BrokerEngine describes itself as mortgage broker workflow software combining teamwork with automation, with auto-prioritised tasks and dynamic checklists. Briefi has an action register, not a loan workflow.1
BrokerEngine is workflow software for mortgage brokers, built around tasks, checklists and automation, and used with any aggregator. Briefi is not a broking workflow tool and does not lodge loans. It covers the client conversation: the meeting, the follow-up, document requests and signing. If you want a system that runs a broker’s day-to-day pipeline and talks to AFG and Connective, that is BrokerEngine. If your gap is the meeting and what follows it, look at Briefi, possibly alongside.

Briefi does not replace your broking workflow tool. It covers what happens with the client around it.
A brief before you meet, a recap after with decisions and actions that have an owner, and a follow-up drafted for you to check and send from your own mailbox.
Clients sign on their phone without a separate signing tool, and the signed PDF carries a certificate page with names, times and a SHA-256 digest.
Ask a client for what you need, see what has come back and chase the rest.
A register of each client’s loans and policies, with a review journey that tells you when each one is due.
Briefi has no direct connection to BrokerEngine; a client list can come across from an export, or through the API. Its identity checks are not available yet, and it does not take payments from your clients.
Briefi is priced by plan. BrokerEngine’s figures are as listed on its pricing page, including GST, with no currency named; check the page before you decide. It lists a broker user and a cheaper support user.
