Designed proposals and quotes
Qwilr is built to send interactive proposals and quotes with sign-off and payment in one place. Briefi Sign sends forms and agreements from templates; it is not a proposal designer.1
They solve different problems. Qwilr is proposal software for sales teams: interactive proposals and quotes with sign-off and payment built in. Briefi Sign is for the paperwork after the yes, such as engagement letters, fact-finds and consents, filed to the client’s record with the signing evidence on the page. If you are winning new work with designed proposals, quotes and payment, Qwilr is the stronger pick. If you serve the same clients for years and the signed form belongs on their record, Briefi keeps it in one place.
What each does today. Every line about Qwilr links to the page it came from.

Sign is the paperwork without the meetings. Advisor includes everything in Sign plus the meeting tools, the client record, registers and a client portal. A row appears only where Qwilr’s own pages say something we could check.
If any of these decides it for you, Qwilr is likely the better fit today.

Briefi was built for small practices that meet the same clients for years. Signing is where a form ends, and the record is where it lands.
Start from a template or import a Word or PDF document, put in your firm’s wording and send it. Initials carry forward on an amendment, so a signer is not asked to initial a section nobody changed.
Each signer can have their own link, sign together on one device, or be countersigned by your firm. A signer can name an attorney and the power they sign under.
The signed PDF carries a certificate page with names, times, IP address, device and location, and a SHA-256 digest of the document. Fee schedules sit inside the signed digest.
Advisor puts meetings, forms and signed copies for a client on one record, with registers for loans, policies, entities and claims, and an optional client portal.
Sign on its own has no meeting capture, no client portal and no review cadences. Advisor adds them on the same workspace.
Qwilr charges for each user by the month. Its figures below are the USD prices its pricing page showed on the date shown; the page says Australian and New Zealand visitors see AUD excluding GST, and we did not see those figures. Briefi is priced per plan, and its figure comes from our own catalogue.
Briefi prices are in AUD and are read from the same price list as the pricing page, so they change when it does.
Not for proposals. If you use Qwilr to win new work with designed proposals, quotes and payment, Briefi Sign does not do that. For the forms that follow, such as engagement letters, fact-finds and consents, signed on a phone and filed to the client, it can.
Electronic signatures are widely used here, but some documents have their own signing rules. Check the rules for your document type. Each Briefi signature comes with a certificate page that records who signed, when and from where.
No. Briefi does not take payments from your clients. If payment inside the document matters, Qwilr offers it.
The Security page sets out how data is stored, encrypted and accessed, so your own review can proceed on the facts.
Stored in Sydney. Some processing uses providers overseas. Sensitive content is encrypted with a key held for your workspace. The Security page lists the providers and where they are.
In our view they can sit side by side: the proposal from Qwilr, then the engagement letter and fact-find from Briefi once the client says yes. Check that the split suits how your firm works.
